"Sidekick sound has been twenty years in the making..."

The beginnings...

Hey there, I am so thankful that you chose to visit Sidekick Sound today. My name is Kyle, and I am the owner of this website. Sidekick sound is a passion project of mine and something I am truly excited and honored to have.

My number one goal is for you to find the “sound” you are looking for that will enhance your overall ability and enhance your knowledge as a musician. It doesn’t matter if you are just looking for a gift for a friend, or if you are a musician yourself looking to fuel your sound. I am here to help.

Music has been a passion of mine since I was seventeen years old.
Growing up in Louisiana, I loved to play basketball and other sports and never gave music a second thought.  Actually, I didn’t even know I could sing! However, when I listened to music I always listened to the guitar parts and was really drawn to the tone and sound of the acoustic guitar.

Even before I learned how to play the guitar, I loved to write. Actually, most of my major writing was done at a time in my life when my mother was very sick with Lupus. I discovered writing as a key outlet to uncover some of my emotions that laid heavy on my heart. When I picked up the guitar at seventeen, I had no idea that the two worlds of writing and playing would mend so perfectly.

Music has been a passion of mine since I was seventeen years old.

When I did pick up the guitar at seventeen, I was immediately hooked.  The first guitar I ever owned was a fender acoustic guitar, that my parents bought me for about $100.  I loved that guitar.  I must of practiced 4 hours a day, not even aware that I was “practicing”.  Luckily, a good friend of mine played guitar and wrote songs.  After showing me a few chords, he was amazed that in a few months I was already playing up to his skill level.  Surprisingly to me, I found that I had some musical talent.

About The Content

Everything you read on this website has been written by me.  I take great pride in saying this.  Many websites hire out multiple writes to help them fill up content as fast as they can.  This website is not like that.  I want to make my readers feel completely confident in what they purchase.  Writing my own content makes that possible, in my own humble opinion.

What's In It For You?

The music and guitar industry is looted with suckers that want you to spend top dollar for the sound you are looking for.  I am here to tell you that you can have a great sounding guitar at a price you are comfortable with.  The great thing about guitars is if they are taken care of properly that doesn’t depreciate in value.

Guitars are a tremendous asset to have because more times than not you have resold them for the same price or even make more if it is a vintage model.

If you resonate with the following statements, you will love what sidekick has to offer.

1. You love the sound of warm guitars.

2. You want to get the best deal possible at the price you can afford.

3. You want to learn how to play the guitar or other acoustic instruments to the best of your ability.

4. You want to learn how to develop your “sound” as a musician.

If you are on board with this, I would like to invite you to sidekick sound by reading our guitar guides.  Thank you again for stopping by!
